Pathfinder Places

UAC has collaborated with many wonderful place-based partners since 2020.

Pathfinder places are towns or cities across the UK, usually clustered regionally, that we work with as a group to build solidarity and develop solutions to shared needs and opportunities. By bringing the pathfinders together, we identify areas suitable for UAC intervention (See Ongoing Projects and Emerging Strands). Each pathfinder place has its own story, challenges, vision and journey towards healthy food, healthy ecosystems and healthy people.

We can all learn more, and aim to lever in more resources, by coming together to exchange knowledge, share experiences and collaborate on projects.

Places we currently work with (Feb 2025) are:

  • Bristol city region – Pathways for an Agroecological Urbanism (research) and We Are Avon.
