Patchwork Farms

Patchwork Farms connect producers and other parts of a local food system across a number of small and medium sites in one locality (a patchwork of sites) and can often make use of neglected open/green spaces.

Working cooperatively with shared branding, infrastructure and marketing, Patchwork farms and gardens are now gaining traction. Sharing experience and equipment increases viability, reach, collaboration, and visibility. This has great potential to create awareness of and engagement in local food production and distribution.
