On 30th Oct, Pru Elliott who leads the Right to Grow campaign for Incredible Edible, hosted Professor Tim Lang for what was an incredibly important webinar on the part Right to Grow has to play in preparing the UK for food system breakdown shocks. Prof. Lang told us about his two years of work with the UK Preparedness Commission (ever heard of it? I hadn’t either) and talked through some hard truths about the state of our food system.

And a key take away is to contact your Local Resilience Forum (everywhere has one) and talk to them about what Prof. Lang is sharing, and about getting food system breakdown as high up as possible on the Risk Register.
